The Punjab government has planned to provide facilities to the people in the villages on the pattern of the city, now the villages in the villages of Punjab have decided to start the program.
An integrated system of clean drinking water supply and sanitation will be created in the villages, the Punjab government says, adding that basic facilities will be provided to the people in the villages at their doorsteps.
The people of the village will not have to go far for birth, death certificate, marriage and divorce registration, the best system of vigilance will be implemented in every village.
A committee comprising local dignitaries will be formed to improve the condition of the village and the concerned Assistant Commissioner will have the authority to form the committee.
