The Department of School Education Punjab has launched an initiative to offer free textbooks to students in government schools in Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, and other districts from Class I to Matriculation (Class 10). This was accomplished throughout the most recent Eid holiday.
The goal of the textbook distribution was to guarantee that all students, regardless of their financial situation, had access to educational resources. Many kids in the area are going to benefit from the free textbook distribution, which is meant to support education at English-medium schools.
Additionally, all 36 districts in Punjab have received an additional 10% of textbooks. The target audience for these books is kids who have just started school. It is interesting that all these recently issued textbooks are only available in English.
To those students who were unable to receive free textbooks before Eid, these books have been provided.
