Punjab Govt. to introduce a special traffic control system for tourists after Murree tragedy.

Hasaan Khawar, a spokesperson for the Punjab administration, said the government will soon implement a modernised traffic management system to help tourists across the province.

He stated that the Punjab government will establish a better system by recognising the shortcomings in the current one, which led to the tragedy in Murree, which killed 22 lives.

He also emphasised the urgent need to modernise the “regulatory structure” and implement traffic improvements, as well as the Rescue 1122 for improved emergency management.

Through media outlets, the government will soon launch an awareness campaign to educate people about the route and travel during snowfall, as well as a safe journey to tourist destinations in the winter, according to Khawar.
