On Tuesday, in a meeting between Prime Minister for industries and Trade, Mian Aslam Iqbal, he emphasized that may companies of Germany have invested i the province already ad it is expected that more businesses will be investing which will pour money in Punjab. The meeting discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation, mutual interests and investment opportunities I Punjab that are present. The Minister further told the envoy, that Pakistan ad Germany enjoyed deep friendly relations. He said both Punjab and Germany companies were getting together to enhance cooperation in technical sector. He further added” government of Punjab can benefit from the expertise of German companies in technology”. Moreover, he added, “there are four new technical universities in the province were made by Punjab government and a in Lahore State-of-art skills technology park is also being set up.” There is huge opportunity of increase cooperation between TEVTA and technical education and technical institutions of Germany.
Local and foreign investors will be facilitated by Punjab Board of Investment and Trade, said Iqbal.
Ambassador of Germany, named Bernhard Schlagheck said, there is an investment friendly environment in Punjab and German investors will take benefit from it.
