Qatri Breaks Guinness World Record for Most Matches Attended at FIFA World Cup

A football lover from Qatar, Hamad Abdulaziz after attending 44 of the 64 games during the Qatar World Cup has been granted as the holder of a unique world record for “most matches attended at a single football FIFA World Cup by an individual”.

Hamad’s presence in a single FIFA World Cup tournament is undoubtedly the result of scrupulous planning and not going to be surpassed soon.

All the 8 venues located under an hour drive of central Doha, Qatar hosted the smallest FIFA World Cup in tournament history.

With the difference of 3hours, Qatar hosted 4 matches a day. The longest distance stadiums was 75 km, which was the trip between Al Janoub in Al Wakrah and Al Bayt in Al Khor, as per reports. However, subway and bus routes were connected to all stadiums.

A 39 year old individual who worked as a coach for the Generation Amazing Foundation, stated that when he was kid he dreamt of playing the World Cup.
