People living in Karachi should prepare for more rain in the upcoming days. The city is likely to experience heavy rainfall by the end of this week due to strong winds blowing in from the west, expected to arrive around February 25.
According to weather expert Jawad Memon, there’s a possibility of rain in Sindh and Balochistan as a result of this weather system. Karachi is also anticipated to receive rainfall from this system. Memon added that this weather pattern is expected to persist until around February 27.
Earlier this month, Karachi encountered heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. This led to various issues as the rainwater mixed with sewage inundated the streets, causing difficulties for people to move around. Many roads, including major ones like MA Jinnah Road and II Chundrigar Road, were flooded.
