Former PM of Pakistan and legendary cricketer Imran Khan has advised Ramiz Raja on his future as Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
After losing a no-confidence vote in the National Assembly, Imran Khan has ousted as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
“Ramiz Raja has full authority over his future as PCB Chairman. You can stay if you want while resigning will also be your own decision,” Khan told reporters at a meeting on Monday.
“Ramiz Raja is my player; he will play to the last ball too,” he added.
Several reports have previously indicated that Najam Sethi is likely to replace Raja due to the former PCB leader’s close ties to new Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
