An American falcon, an extremely rare Pure Gyr ultra-white type, was sold for more than Dh1 million (around $275,000) at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), making history. People are excited about the upcoming event.

The Emirates Falconers’ Club, the event’s organizer, is getting ready for the exhibition starting on September 2 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The auction will have surprises and new features.

There will be six categories in the auction for three kinds of captive-bred falcons: Pure Gyr, Pure Gyr males, and Pure Saker. These falcons come from local and international breeding farms. They’ll also have contests to find the most beautiful captive-bred falcons and the best rare falcons.
