Rupee hits new low in Pakistan’s history to Rs. 174.10 against US dollars.

On Thursday, the US Dollar gained 60 paisas against the rupee in the interbank market, reaching a new high of Rs174.10, up from the previous day’s closing rate of Rs173.50.

The open market value of the dollar was Rs174.40 after the greenback appreciated by 20 paisas at roughly 4:20 p.m. According to data published by the FX association, the currency’s open market buying rate was Rs174 and the selling rate was Rs174.40 at the time.

By the end of the day, the purchasing rate of the greenback in interbank trade was Rs174 and the selling rate was Rs174.10, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (AFP).
