Sajid Sadpara Achieves Historic Feat: Become First Pakistani to Scale 10th Highest Peak Without Oxygen

Sajid seeks to conquer the highest mountains head-on in order to continue his father, the late famous mountaineer Ali Sadpara,’s glorious legacy.

On Saturday, he became the first climber from the South Asian nation to reach the peak’s 8,091 metres without using oxygen, confirming his most recent accomplishment. Two years after his father and two other climbers perished while attempting to summit K2 in the winter, he finished the journey.

Sajid, who at the age of nineteen scaled the perilous K2, was recently photographed on Nepal’s Annapurna, a mountain known for its treacherous climbing conditions and where many climbers have perished.

In a tweet, Chhang Dawa Sherpa praised Sajid for climbing Mount Annapurna without taking any additional oxygen.

Sajid’s accomplishment demonstrates his extraordinary climbing skills and unwavering resolve to ascend some of the world’s most difficult peaks without oxygen.

This daring climber’s late father was well known for accomplishing great exploits. The Pakistani government declared Ali Sadpara, John Snorri, and Juan Pablo Mohr deceased in the beginning of 2021. He received his name since he was the climber who never returned.
