Samsung Patents a Z Flip-Like Galaxy Phone with No Gap Hinge

Samsung appears to have a huge number of new and innovative ideas to improve its current generation of new foldable smartphones. One of the recent patents shows that Samsung may be working on it currently.

The Korean smartphone maker has also published a patent for their new clamshell foldable that is like the Galaxy Z-Flip, and it is also with no gaps in the hinge that means it is with zero gap hinges and a large outer display.

The patent taken was originally filed this year in June. It shows a clamshell foldable that is similar to the Galaxy Z Flip; however, it is with a new hinge display design that allows the device to event shut flat with no gaps.

There is also a larger display that is additionally on the outside, and it is also similar to the Motorola Razr. The display for it is smaller than the Moto Razr, but it is bigger than the current Galaxy Z-Flip. More cameras are on the back and arranged in a horizontal layout. However, there is no punch-hole cutout in it for the front camera as it appears to be tucked over the top bezel instead. We all can expect to see these advanced changes in the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip.
