Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al Yahya, director general of Passports (Jawazat), has announced that Saudi Arabia will be providing free visas to all Sudanese nationals who were evacuated from Sudan.
This initiative is in accordance with the directives of the Saudi Arabian leadership, and the evacuated individuals will have the same privileges as any other member or visitor of Saudi society, with free movement allowed as long as they have scheduled departure plans.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since the military conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces began, 5,013 individuals from 100 different countries have been evacuated from Sudan.
The Saudi government has been actively working to evacuate its citizens as well as nationals from friendly countries to the Kingdom.
