After the Hajj, Saudi Arabia formally began the Umrah season. According to Arab media, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has started issuing Umrah permits and in the first phase, permits will be issued to residents of the Kingdom and Gulf nation residents.
Through the smartphone applications Nasik and Tawaklan, Saudi citizens and guests from the Gulf states can acquire the required permits.
Nasik applications are to facilitate the Umrah permit process with the aim of maintaining the number of pilgrims for Umrah, besides, Nasik has also been associated with a health platform that enables the government to keep track of the well-being of guests visiting the kingdom.
