If you’re planning to visit the Netherlands in 2024, you’ll need to apply for a Schengen visa. This visa allows you to stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period and grants access to 26 Schengen countries, including the Netherlands. The visa application process is managed by VFS Global, where you will submit required documents and undergo biometric registration.

  9. Travel Medical Insurance: Covering at least 30,000 Euros, valid for the entire Schengen area.

Business Visa Requirements:

In addition to the above, business applicants need:

  2. Business Documents: Invitation letter from a Dutch company, supporting business transactions (e.g., invoices, purchase orders).
  3. Chamber of Commerce Certificate: Valid for the current year.

Visa Processing Time:

  • Processing Duration: 14-28 days.
  • Visa Fees: €60 (approximately).

Important Tips:

  • Ensure all documents are accurate and complete to avoid delays.
  • If you’re visiting family or friends, confirm accommodation details and ensure the sponsor can accommodate you.
  • It’s recommended to book hotels via reputable platforms like Booking.com or Agoda to ensure your accommodation proof meets requirements.

If you provide sufficient ties to your home country, such as tax returns, property ownership, or family obligations, it will enhance the chances of visa approval.
