Seven projects in the province have been launched by the Government of Balochistan to encourage tourism in coastal areas, for which construction work is in progress.
This was said in a meeting held in Balochistan to discuss the promotion of schemes for the growth of tourism, culture and archaeology launched at tourist sites in different areas of Balochistan. During the meeting, it was also said that not only would the projects draw visitors, but also investors involved in investing in the province’s coastal areas.
The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani and other members who attended the meeting included CM Tourism and Culture Adviser Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Chief Secretary of Baloch-istan Capt. (retd) Fazeel Asgha
CM Tourism and Culture Adviser Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Chief Secretary of Baloch-istan Capt (retd) Fazeel Asghar, Additional Chief Planning and Development Secretary Abdul Saboor Kakar and Secretary of Culture and Tourism were included.
Chief Minister Alyani said, “Tourism offices should be set up at divisional levels, tourism information centres should be opened on major highways and road signs should be installed on tourist spots and culture,” adding that competitions should be organized across Balochistan in different fields of art.
He said that supporting tourism, the arts and culture will enable us to emphasize the positive image of Pakistan.
