Shaheen Shah Afridi, a Pakistani left-arm bowler, reached the landmark of 250 international wickets during the Group A match of the Asia Cup against India on Saturday in Kandy.
With his astounding accomplishment, the left-arm fast bowler becomes the third Pakistani to join the likes of renowned bowlers Waqar Younis and Saqlain Mushtaq.
He became the seventh bowler overall to achieve this before turning 24 with this accomplishment. Shaheen is a batsman’s worst nightmare due to his lethal mix of pace, accuracy, and swing.
