Shaheen Afridi, Pakistan’s star left-arm pacer, has recently risen one spot in the latest ICC Test bowling rankings. After South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada dropped three places to sixth, Shaheen is currently ranked fourth in the world in Test rankings.
Since Pakistan’s Test series victory over Bangladesh last year, Shaheen has not played in a Test match. He will play in the longest format of the game next month as Australia embarks on a historic tour of Pakistan, which will include a three-match Test series.
Shaheen, who broke into the top three Test bowler rankings last year, will be hoping to repeat the milestone when he leads Pakistan’s bowling attack against the world’s best Test team.
However, Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s leg-spinner, has lost one position in the current ICC T20I bowling rankings.
