Sikh Trader Distributes ‘Ramazan Package’ to Promote Religious Harmony

A local Sikh trader in the Tirah Valley distributed dates, bags of cement and packets of sugar to residents as part of a “Ramazan package” on Friday.

Residents said that Parlat Singh, a resident of Tirah Valley in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Ramazan distributed 200 kilograms of dates and sugar to residents.

He also provided 100 bags of cement for the construction of three mosques and mattresses.

It is worth noting that charity is an integral part of the Sikh religion. Members of the Sikh community regularly provide food to the poor in Peshawar and other parts of the province, particularly during Ramazan.

The local merchants’ association chairman, Haji Sher Muhammad Afridi, thanked Parlat Singh for his charitable services and the Ramazan package.

“The valley is significantly affected by the terror wave, and these people need help.

Today, Parlat Singh distributed food and donated cement for local mosques. He said that the Sikh community is an integral part of our society,” he said.
