The Government of Sindh has declared that it will be naming the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit project after well-known philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi.
Sindh Information, Transport and Local Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon have set a one month target for the Sindh Local Transport Authority to launch the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transport Service.
Sharjeel Memon chaired a meeting attended by Sindh Transport Minister Abdul Haleem Shaikh, Sindh Mass Transit Authority MD Altaf Saryo, and other officials. The minister looked for all the problems and obstacles in the Orange Line project.
He Directed Sindh Minister for Transport to meet with Sindh Infrastructure Development Company Limited (SIDCL) to speed up the pace of work in Orange.
He added that he would personally speak to Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal to get the project.
