International Mother’s Day: Bilquis Edhi Declared ‘Mother of HumanKind’

To commemorate International Mother’s Day, on May 8, 2022, Asia-Oceania Postdoctoral Academy (AOPDA) and SAARCASEAN Postdoctoral Academy jointly passed a resolution to posthumously proclaim two prestigious titles, Epitome of Motherhood and Mother of Motherhood, simultaneously in this imposing city of Pakistan Humanitarian Bilquis Bano Edhi to honour their supreme triumph against infanticide.

According to a press release from the AOPDA Secretariat, Bilquis Bano Edhi’s triumph against infanticide made her the mother of hundreds of thousands of unwanted children and the mother of the outcast, elevating her to planetary mother status.

“It is neither common nor simply extraordinary for a single person to mark clear divisions throughout history. But now, in the case of infanticide, the future historian and history itself must be divided and demarcated into two parts: the pre-Bilquis Edhi era and the post-Bilquis Edhi era, and it is a rare phenomenon, even very rarely in the middle, and thin of centuries and millennium. Now the battlefield must build its cuts and marks on the same foundations laid by Bilquis Bano, the ‘protective mother’ of unwanted babies,” reads the AOPDA International Mother’s Day 2022 resolution.

Postdocs prepared the resolution under the auspices of Judge (R) Dr S. S. Paru, Chancellor Emeritus of the AOPDA of Indonesia, approved and duly ratified. It was moved and designed by the AOPDA P.I. Teacher.

Dr Aurangzeb Hafi of Pakistan was a co-recipient of the Bidecadal Merit Award alongside Bilquis Edhi. Prof. Hafi is not only a co-recipient of the 21st Century Bidecadal 1 Award of Merit with Bilquis Edhi but also has the unique privilege of being considered by the great philanthropist to be his third son along with his two biological sons: Faisal Edhi and Qutub Edhi.

Bilquis received the Pakistan Hilale Imtiaz, the Russian Lenin Peace Prize, the Mother Teresa Memorial International Social Justice Award and the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Public Service.

The merits of the planetary mother Bilquis Edhi were categorically recognized by the world in 2021 when she was declared a “person of two decades” by an international organization along with U.N. human rights reporter Professor Yanghee Lee and American ethicist Stephen Soldz in the course of the 1st revision of Bidecadaic summary of the 21st century.

According to the Domino Effect ruling announced by UK-based Impact Hallmarks [I.H.] in January 2021, Bilquis Edhi was the most influential person of the first two decades of the 21st century.
