Recently, Microsoft, in collaboration with the Sindh Government, has organized a modern technology event dubbed. The “Education Days” organized an event that focuses on Microsoft Digital Classroom Technology, and it aims to expose the school leaders, the teachers & students to hybrid learning model and also how they can remain engaged as we all continue to adopt the new ways of learning online and offline.
The program organized also aims to celebrate the Children’s Day by enabling the educational institutions to be known and familiar with the Microsoft Teams and also with other tools just to enhance their capacity and capability for applying modern techniques in the learning processes.
This event was kicked off on the day of 23rd November 2020 and will be followed by the multiple sessions arranged for all the participants like the teachers and will end on 26th November 2020, with the capacity to accommodate around 10,000 participants.
The Modern Digital Classroom Technology, which was presented by Microsoft, accommodates the crucial needs of almost all the key stakeholders such as the students, teachers, and parents, along with school administration. The event presents an amazing opportunity to showcase the Microsoft Teams that they bring the conversations, assignments, content, and the apps together at one place to engage the students and letting their teachers create a vibrant learning environment for all.
The audience of the event will be trained as not to only create the things but also on how they can leverage from the other tools like Flipgrid, Minecraft for Education, OneNote, and a MakeCode.
Mr Saeed Ghani, The Honorable Provincial Minister of Sindh for Education, Literacy and Human Resources noted that “Our Government is fully determined to implement the distance learning programs that promote digital classroom culture among every district of Sindh. Microsoft, being a pioneer of this business, is also partnered with us to turn our dream into reality. Here the aim is to digitally enable every education institution of Sindh to benefit from the latest Technological advancements and to introduce the best learning practices at the primary and secondary level of education. Our future, young generation that is enthusiastic can compete in the International arena only if they are well-equipped as well as informed with the Digital platforms to gain access to the worldly knowledge. Their connectivity with Field experts and IT people for seeking knowledge through these Digital platforms or world is the real key to success for them and us, as a nation”.
Mr Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo, The Secretary School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, and Mr Abdul Kabir Kazi, The Managing Director Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh, also graced the occasion by their appreciation and praising Microsoft and Sindh Government joint venture for transforming the education system of Sindh through the capacity building of the Teaching staff and Children to be adaptive like with emerging technologies in the blended learning process.
