A stronger Rescue 1122 service has been inaugurated by Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, which is going to be responsible for the catastrophic events happening in the South East Region of the country.
Through the records of local media, the provincial government, and the World Bank, by collaborating together, are providing the Sindh Health Department nearly 50 ambulances as an endeavour to develop rescue and emergency services in the particular area.
Shah claimed in his remarks at the event that Sindh will be provided with around 230 ambulances for the service, including over 50 vehicles to initiate the measures as soon as possible. The provincial government would be including 40 ambulances every month, and the entire project is predicted to be completed in October of this year.
At  the opening ceremony, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Minister of Health and Population Welfare, was invited as the chief guest, and the ceremony was also accompanied by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
Sindh is claimed to be the most sensitive area. According to climate change and natural disasters, a huge number of accidents also take place in Sindh frequently, Hence, it is very important to have the rescue services in the province.
As per the statement of CM, these services would be provided to every individual who is at a distance of 50 kilometres from the city and would also be served by all the major highways.
According to Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, the Minister for Health and Population Welfare, a total of 85 ambulances are now operational in Thatta, Sajawal, and Karachi, which is the country’s largest city, and includes that all of the ambulances have modern trauma, cardiac, and obstetric life support services.
