Ghee, Cooking Oil Prices Go up to Rs. 213 Per KG at Utility Stores

The prices of cooking oil and ghee are being increased by the federal government of Pakistan by an amount of Rs. 208 and Rs. 213 per litre and kilogramme correspondingly.

With all this sudden rise in the prices of different relevant products for the kitchen, As per the records in the local press, the prices of different companies’ cooking oil and ghee have been vastly increased.

A Price Increase Notification has been issued in the country, and the new pricing will be effective by June 1st.

The price of a five -liter tin of Dalda cooking oil has been boosted from Rs 2,105 to Rs 2,655, whereas the costs of other companies of cooking oil have also been raised because of the increase in inflation.

After this unbelievable rise in the cost of fuel in the local market, the cost of different kitchen materials has also increased tremendously.

Chicken meat, vegetables, fresh milk, yoghurt, sugar, flour, grocery and confectionary items, and other unnecessary products are all going through a significant increase in price.

During this, the customers are complaining about the rise in prices, saying that these products are completely unaffordable because of the lower production of income.
