Legendary cricketer Wahab Riaz feels that no captain should be required to speak English.
Wahab was recently questioned regarding remarks made against Babar’s communication and English abilities. Our country is complicated. We tend to enjoy other people’s creations. He said what he thought.
Although he was aware that English is a widely used language, Urdu is the official language. He doesn’t see any problems if Babar or anyone else speaks Urdu. He said what he thought.
“English proficiency is not required, but I think it’s a good idea.” According to him, a person simply needs to be able to communicate effectively, whether in English or in Urdu.
