Following are the details you need to keep in mind before going to apply for International Driving License:
- An attested copy of the applicant’s passport.
- Two attested passport-sized photographs.
- An attested three photocopies of a valid CNIC.
- One photocopy of the applicant’s valid national driving license.
- Medical certificate (if applicable, for age 50 and above).
- Blood Group Report if you are applying at Motorway Police.
- Copy of a valid driving license issued by Islamabad Traffic Police/ Punjab Traffic Police/ Motorway Police or Sindh Police.
- One photocopy of a valid passport along with a valid visa.
- Residential proof in Islamabad if applying from Islamabad Traffic Police.
Complete your documents as mentioned above.
After that a Visit to the Concerned Driving License Authority Office Follow Following Steps:
Get a token and wait for your turn.
- Data entry.
- Eyesight Check-up
- Biometric and live Camera Pictures.
- Traffic Signs Test on Computers (followed in every center), Written Scenario Based Test applicable only at Islamabad Traffic Police.
- Submit all the documents to the concerned person.
Then you need to wait and Enter into the queue for Practical Test.
- If you are there with your own Car then you can give a driving test on it, if not they will provide you with a car by using it you have to attempt their instructions.
- A Police officer will sit along with you while taking your test, He/She will attach a camera and start its recording.
- Then He/ She will give you instructions to follow.
- He/ She will ask first to drive in an open ground.
- Then He/ She will take you to the nearest Road to check your Road Sense.
- If you will Successfully pass all the instructions, you will get a Success Report.
A wait will be required to get your hands on your International Driving License, normally a time 1 week time requires to get your international Driving License.
After getting your License it will be valid for 132 Countries and you can drive carefree.
