A Pakistani woman, Sumera Rehma, has finally returned to Pakistan. She was languished in a detention centre at Bangalore in India for some Years along with her 4-year-old daughter Sana Fatima.
Last week, PML-N Senator Irfan Siddique said that the Indian authority had completed all formalities for Sumaira release.
At the Wagah border, Sumaira was handed over by Indian authorities to Pakistani authorities. Pakistani High Commission officials go along with the Sumaira from Bangalore to Wagah Border.
Furthermore, Senator Siddique said, “It will take three to four days to fulfill all the legal requirements of Sumaira and her daughter, and after that, she would be free wherever she wants to go”.
Sumaira was settled in Qatar. But as she married an Indian Muslim man named Mohammad Shadab against her parents. And the couple decided to settle in India as Shadab took her there.
