Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has decided to join the recent price hike movement and has declared a price increase for its automobiles.
However, only the pricing of domestically assembled units have been changed, and the price hike ranges from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 297,000.
PSMC announced the price increase shortly after Honda Atlas and Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) did the same. With the exception of the Kia Sorento, Kia Lucky Motors (KLM) had previously announced price increases for its vehicles.
Bookings for suspended variants of the Suzuki Cultus, Wagon R, and Alto have also been restarted following the announcement of revised prices, and it will be fascinating to see how demand for Pakistan’s most popular automobiles is affected, if at all.
