Swimming in the Space: Zebrafish’s Zero-G Adventure

Have you ever seen fish farming in space?

Check out these zebrafish!

Four zebrafish brought into orbit by the Shenzhou-18 spaceship on April 26 remain in good condition after spending 20 days in China’s space station, according to researchers. The fish are currently housed in a small aquarium in the Wentian laboratory module of the China Space Station. They were taken to the space station for a life science and ecological experiment.

Like astronauts, these zebrafish need to pass through rounds of selection to become “aquastronauts”.
