Systems Limited Reported Rs. 1.74 Billion Profit in 3 Months

Systems Limited reported a year-on-year drop of 8.8% in after-tax profits for the third quarter of 2024, with total profits amounting to Rs1.74 billion. This decline happened despite an 11.37% increase in revenue, which reached Rs9.87 billion.

The main reason for the lower profits was a rise in the cost of sales, which went up by 23%. As a result, the company’s gross profit fell to Rs2.62 billion. However, there were some positive signs, especially in the company’s European and Middle East segments, which showed encouraging growth and signs of recovery. Notably, 87% of the company’s sales now come from exports, highlighting its strong international presence.

To address the challenges of rising inflation, Systems Limited is focused on optimizing costs and renegotiating rates with partners. The company has also formed strategic partnerships, including one with Microsoft, which is positioning it well for the future. As the company shifts its focus toward offering AI as a Service, it is preparing for further growth.

With these strategies in place, Systems Limited is well-equipped to continue growing in the coming quarters, despite the short-term profit decline. The company remains optimistic about maintaining consistent success as it navigates the evolving business landscape.
