The only IT company that has bagged the most coveted Forbes Asia’s top 200 under a billion in 2020 award is Systems Limited, a next-generation global technology company that helps companies to reimagine their industries through information technology (IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) services out of Pakistan.
The award ceremony, held for the first time in a virtual format, honoured the companies that made it to the Forbes Asia 200 Best Under A Billion list, a well-researched category of Asia-Pacific companies with sales of less than $1 billion and consistent top- and bottom-line growth. These businesses have displayed records of excellent corporate success and scored above their peers in a composite score that includes growth in revenue and earnings, low debt levels and robust debt. The requirements also ensured that businesses from around the area were diverse.

Forbes Asia’s Best Under A Billion list honours the achievements of high achievers of the country through various industries. In the Asia-Pacific region, these inductees are chosen from a universe of 18,000 publicly traded companies with annual sales above $10 million and below $1 billion. Qualitative screens were often used apart from quantitative requirements, such as removing businesses with extreme governance problems, dubious accounting, environmental issues, management problems or legal problems. Also excluded were state-controlled and subsidiary corporations.
