The International Cricket Council (ICC) has admitted that there was a mistake that allowed India to be ranked first among men’s teams in ICC Test rankings.
Australia is now again ranked first in the Test rankings after the ICC issued its revision, followed by India.
“The ICC admits that on February 15, 2023, India was mistakenly listed as the top Test team on the ICC website for a brief period of time due to a technological error. We apologise for the trouble this may have caused “ICC stated while publishing a revised ranking list.
