Temperature in Karachi to Hit 40 degrees After March 15.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that next week there will be hot and dry days in the city, especially after March 15. And the temperature is expected to remain between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius and there’s also possibility of reaching to 40 degrees.

Rising temperatures will stop the sea breeze in the mornings, but it may resume in the evening.

Meanwhile, the highest temperature in Karachi recorded on Sunday was 22 degrees Celsius, with the water content in the air remaining at 66 percent. Winds are expected to gust to 8km/h.

Residents have been advised to stay indoor and drink as much water as they can in upcoming days.

Here are some ways to beat the heat in Karachi: Avoid going out between 12pm and 3pm when the sun is at its strongest and wear loose, and lightweight clothing. Wear sunscreen and seek shade. Consume plenty of fluids. Wear a scarf or cap to cover your head. Also use eye drops and lip balm to make sure your eyes and lips don’t get too dry.
