Tesla, a US-automaker has recently said that it is developing a new platform for car owners that would allow them to access their data generated by the vehicles in China.
Tesla aims to launch this data platform soon, expectedly in the current year, according to the official statement.
However, as per the sources, this is happening for the first time by an automaker that has announced its plans to allow the customers to access the car data in China that is the biggest car market of the World.
Moreover, last month the draft rules were published by China in order to ensure the security of this data platform that is generated by smart cars.
According to the executive of Tesla, the data that was collected from Tesla EVs- electric cars in China has been stored in the country.
