Tesla Launches New Car Models S and X with Cheaper Prices

Tesla has unveiled more affordable of its Model S sedan and Model X SUV in the United States, as a part of their cost minimization and driving sales strategy. The new “standard range” variants of the Model S and Model X are scheduled for delivery from September to October 2023.

Customers inclined towards the more budget-friendly option can choose a “pearly white” exterior with a gleaming all-black interior. However, alternative color preferences come at a higher cost. The new Model S boasts an impressive maximum driving range of 320 miles (515 km), slightly lower than the basic and performance trim levels, which can reach up to 405 miles and 396 miles, respectively.

Similarly, the updated Model X SUV showcases a maximum range of 269 miles, notably trailing behind the basic and performance trims, which excel with ranges spanning 348 miles and 333 miles, correspondingly.

The new Model S is priced at $78,490, while the New Model C costs $88,490. In comparison to their precursors, these prices indicate a substantial reduction of approximately 10%, as part of Tesla’s ongoing efforts to enhance affordability.
