After the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly approved the fifteenth amendment to the Azad Kashmir Constitution, the limit of only 16 ministers in Azad Kashmir was lifted.
The Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Riaz Gujjar, after which Government Minister Faisal Rathore presented constitutional amendments to the House, which were approved by a majority vote.
The opposition boycotted the anti-movement assembly meeting.
The PML-N government set a limit of thirty percent of the total members of the Azad Kashmir Assembly, which is 16, for making ministers in the fourteenth amendment. There is no limit on the number of ministers appointed since the fifteenth amendment.
