The first Pakistani movie to achieve the $10 million mark internationally was “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” which earned $10 million at the international box office.
Variety reports that “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” directed by Bilal Lashari and starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, is now the highest-grossing Pakistani movie of all time.
The movie, which was made by Ammara Hikmat’s Encyclopedia and Lashari Films, was released on October 13, 2022, and it has amassed $10 million in worldwide box office receipts, including $4.2 million in Pakistan. The previous record-holder “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2” earned $3.2 million globally in 2018.
