Leng Jun is a well-known contemporary Chinese artist well recognised for his hyperrealistic works on paper and paintings.
Jun, a Sichuan native who graduated from the Hankou Branch of Wuhan Normal College’s fine arts programme in 1984, was born in 1963 and now resides and works in Beijing.
The work of the artist is recognised for its remarkable detail, which must be viewed up close or with a magnifying glass to be fully understood.
