Monsoon season every year brings with it many epidemic diseases that many people are aware of, but they are not aware of various measures to prevent them.
It is well known that whenever the rainy season comes, various diseases rise, especially among children who are easy targets for these diseases.
Regarding how to protect children from these spreading diseases, pediatrician Dr. Atif Mansoor informed the viewers about some preventive measures and treatments in ARY News’ program Awear Saveera.
He said that after the rains, as there is a lot of dirt which is the main cause of these diseases, diarrhea, typhoid, and dengue, malaria also spread very quickly during the rainy season.
Dr. Atif said that if the child has a fever, give him Paracetamol and keep a close watch for two days to see if the fever subsides or not, if the fever does not subside, consult a doctor immediately.
If the child has a viral disease, it will be cured in two days, otherwise, the disease may be severe. If not, consult a doctor immediately. Dr. Atif said that it is very important to take care of cleanliness to avoid these diseases, children must wash their hands well before eating and after using the bathroom.
