The government has started sealing off the entry and exit points of the provincial capital Punjab ahead of the planned long march by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The police have closed the bridge over the Ravi River with containers.
At the same time, the government is also likely to complete the Lahore-Islamabad highway, and a strong police contingent is stationed at the Thokar Niaz Baig and Babu Sabu junction.
Authorities also closed the Sagian Bridge using a tractor car.
Islamabad Traffic Police have also shared traffic schedules, particularly for travel towards the Red Zone.
According to the information, people can only enter the Red Zone via Margalla Road.
For the moment, Ayub Chowk, Express Chowk, NADRA Chowk, and Serena Chowk are banned from entering and exiting the Red Zone.
