Indian Court Sentences Kashmiri Leader Yasin Malik to Life- imprisonment

An Indian court has condemned the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, to prison for life for his leading role in the constant movement for the independence of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian unlawful occupation in these contrived cases.

On May 19th, Special Judge Praveen Singh of India’s famous National Investigation Agency (NIA) ordered to condemn Yasin Malik. Yasin Malik, the chief of the Hurriyat group of organisations, was being illegally punished for supplying financial support to terrorists.

The case of Yasin has been started in New Delhi, which has been under maximum security alerts. Yasin had been living in India for many years, in the renowned prison of Tihar.

Meanwhile, during this court hearing, Yasin approached the rostrum and claimed to be a law-abiding citizen who has spent his life learning from Mahatma Gandhi. Yasin raised a question in his statement that if he was a terrorist, why would three Indian Prime Ministers have a meeting with him, and why was he provided with an Indian passport?

Many Kashmiris, including Hurriyat Chiefs and activists, have been arrested and imprisoned in various jails in occupied Kashmir and India by the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government.

They are being tormented by the Modi dictatorship due to the opposing and unlawful annexation of India, of their nation, and want their UN-recognized right to self-determination.
