Traveling to Pakistan is now more convenient than ever, thanks to a newly launched mobile app that simplifies the visa-on-arrival process for citizens of 120 countries. The app, developed by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), allows travelers to apply for visas, track their applications, and receive approvals online.
With this digital innovation, visitors can now apply for both business and tourist visas without the hassle of lengthy paperwork. The app features advanced technology, including facial recognition and document scanning, ensuring a smooth and secure process for applicants.
Pakistan’s online visa system has expanded, granting access to citizens from 192 countries, while those from 120 countries can benefit from the visa-on-arrival facility. The goal is to enhance the travel experience and encourage tourism and business visits to the country.
In addition to visa services, NADRA has also introduced a digital solution for Pakistani citizens to obtain their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) and Family Registration Certificates (FRC) through the same platform. This eliminates the need for in-person visits and long queues, as applications, biometric verification, and payments can all be handled online.
With this mobile app, Pakistan is making travel and identification services more accessible, bringing ease and efficiency to both visitors and citizens alike.
