Ali Can Aksu, President of the Turkish Tourism Hotel Managers Association, and his team visited Atif Bokhari, Minister of State/Chairman of the Board of Investment, at the BOI office to explore investment opportunities and provide specialized services/expertise on the Pakistan tourism and hospitality industry.
TUROYD is an association of hotels and tour operators dedicated to the activation and growth of civil society activities in the tourism sector, as well as the support of individuals and institutions involved in the industry. They serve 71 countries around the world with specialized services.
Mr. Ali stated during his presentation that the tourism dynamics have changed dramatically as a result of the ongoing pandemic, and that their organization is working to promote ecological tourism. He went on to say that they are always on the lookout for new tourist destinations, and Pakistan has the potential to become one of the best in the country and one of the best in the world.
Mr. Ali emphasized that, in addition to tourism and hospitality, TUROYD promotes the country’s cultural development and shares their knowledge and experience to promote Pakistan as a tourist destination.
