As per sources, UAE on Thursday announced a travel ban on few countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa & Nigeria.
The Foreign Ministry & the National Emergency, Crisis & Disaster Management Authority announced that, along with the start of the travel period, citizens have to comply with all safety precautions & preventative measures that are associated with Covid-19.
The UAE in the previous month had prolonged the travel prohibition on travelers from Pakistan & other 13 countries at least until July 21.
The UAE had earliest declared the temporary suspension of entry for travelers from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka on national and foreign flights upon May 12.
UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority, in a notice released to Airmen (NOTAM), told flights between Pakistan and 13 other countries, involving Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, & South Africa, will remain suspended until 23:59 hours of July 21, 2021.
“Cargo flights, as well as business and charter flights, would be exempted from the restrictions,” the notification added.
