UAE will build the world’s first air conditioned city in Dubai.

Vice-President and Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced the UAE’s latest project, following the construction of the world’s largest shopping, leisure, and entertainment destination, the Dubai Mall. The all-pedestrian complex will purportedly occupy a total area of 48 million square feet (4.45 millions square metres) and will contain the largest indoor theme park in the world covered by a glass dome.

The project, dubbed the “Mall of the World,” was revealed on Saturday by Sheikh Mohammed, the ruler of the United Arab Emirates. It will be the world’s first temperature-controlled metropolis, with hotels, health resorts, and theatres, as well as the world’s largest mall and an indoor park.

It would have a total area of 48 million square feet and will be located along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, adjacent to the Mall of Dubai (4.45 millions square meters).

The project will include the world’s largest indoor theme park, which will be encased in a glass dome that will be open during the winter months but will keep everything cool during the scorching summers, when temperatures can reach over 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50 Celsius degrees).
