As per reliable sources, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) will conduct the pilot licensing examination in March this year.
The PCAA has outsourced the license examination to the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom (UK CAA).
“The Aviation Authority has received a plan from the British company on the examinations. The Director-General (DG) PCAA is anticipated to make an announcement in this regard today,” as per media reports.
It is to noted that the PCAA and the UK CAA achieved an agreement in December of last year after getting approval from the federal cabinet for a framework agreement.
According to the agreement, exams for the licenses of flight operations officer (FOO), private pilot license (PPL), and commercial pilot license will be conducted by the UK CAA (CPL).
