Umer Gul to be Bowling Coach of Pakistan for Series Against New Zealand

Umar Gul, a former fast bowler, has been named by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as the bowling coach for the upcoming New Zealand tour. Waqar Younis, who left his position earlier this year, will be replaced on the coaching staff for the series by Gul, who announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020.

Gul, who has an outstanding track record in both Test and limited-overs cricket, is regarded as one of Pakistan’s top fast bowlers to ever play for the country. He is renowned for his ability to swing the ball both ways and his reliability under pressure.

As the new bowling coach, Gul will work with the Pakistani team’s current crop of fast bowlers to help them develop their abilities and performance. To create a winning plan for the team’s tour of New Zealand, he will collaborate closely with head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and the rest of the coaching staff.

The PCB chose to appoint Gul as the bowling coach because he brings a plethora of expertise to the position. He is well-liked and renowned for his commitment and diligence in the cricketing world. His hiring is anticipated to boost Pakistan’s team’s performance and pave the way for a fruitful trip to New Zealand.
