University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Opens Job Vacancies in Pakistan

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates domiciled in Punjab for the prestigious position of Treasurer (BPS-20). This is a contract-based role for a tenure of three years, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals in the field of finance and accounting to manage the university’s financial operations.

Role and Responsibilities of the Treasurer

The Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing UET’s financial affairs, which include budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring the financial stability of the institution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification and experience criteria:

1. Ph.D. in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics

• 8 years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above, or an equivalent position in a relevant field.

1. MS or M.Phil in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics (18 years of education)

• 10 years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above, or an equivalent position in a relevant field.

1. MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, or M.Sc (Economics) (16 years of education in 2nd division)

• 12 years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 or above, or an equivalent position in a relevant field.

General Instructions

• Age Limit: 35 to 50 years.
