The captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, and other players are likely to miss teammate Haris Rauf’s reception in Rawalpindi tonight. Sources have revealed that the team management has not allowed the players to travel due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Initially, the plan was for the players to travel from Karachi to Rawalpindi today in the evening and return on Saturday afternoon in order to proceed to Sri Lanka for a Test series. However, due to the poor weather and the prediction of rain following the onset of monsoon season, the team management has decided not to take any risks.
Despite not being able to attend in person, the entire team expressed their wishes to the bowler through social media.
