Woman Died after Falling from Chairlift in Abbottabad

A chairlift accident resulted in the death of a woman. Abbottabad is the location of this horrible event. According to the authorities, the case is still open on behalf of the deceased woman’s heirs. No registration. The lift operator’s negligence is also being blamed for the incident. Rescue 1122 Mansehra has been practicing for emergencies involving heights and chairlifts since last week.

District Emergency Officer Hafeezur Rehman has stated that dedicated teams will soon be ready to handle commonplace emergencies such as chair lifts. Using the available resources, Rescue 1122 is staging simulated drills in mountainous and urban environments. Chairlift emergency kits can protect workers and transport stranded passengers to safety.

It should be mentioned that a chair lift between Kuragh and Koshte-Gulshit in Koragh, Upper Chitral, malfunctioned a few days ago, causing three individuals riding it to become stranded in the middle of the river. Going from Gulsht-Kosht to Koragh was their destination. 

The Rescue 1122 crew arrived on the scene and, after 45 minutes of effort, pulled the three stranded passengers to safety on the beach; the chairlift is currently out of service while it undergoes repairs. While the Deputy Commissioner coordinated student transportation from Galshit-Koshit to their respective schools.
