World Largest Floating Book Fair Coming to Dubai Ticket Price at PKR 1200

The world’s largest floating book fair has returned to the United Arab Emirates after over a decade and is bringing with it not just thousands of books in Arabic and English but also hundreds of volunteers who are on board “to promote literacy, cross-cultural cooperation, and social awareness.”

The non-profit organization GBA (Good Books for All), which is based in Germany, operates the ship Logos Hope, which carries on the traditions of its sister ships Logos, Doulos, and Logos II. Since 1970, these ships have jointly welcomed more than 50 million passengers from more than 150 different nations and territories.

Greek word logos, which translates to “word,” is used to describe the ship as a “genuine expression of international goodwill and understanding.” The crew and personnel are made up of volunteers from over 65 different nations who give up one or more years of their lives to work on board.
